Barry Grieff: the CEO
Barry Grieff has over 35 years experience as a senior level executive in the entertainment, marketing, recording, and advertising industries. Mr. Grieff’s involvement with interactive media reaches back to the 1980s, when he produced the first interactive multimedia property for the Laser Disc entitled Treasure: In Search of the Golden Horse (1984). After Mr. Grieff served as National Advertising Director for the National Lampoon Magazine and East Coast Advertising Director of Rolling Stone Magazine during the 1970s, he began his music industry career at A&M Records. Starting as Director of Merchandising at A&M, he quickly became the youngest Vice President in the label’s history when he was named VP of Advertising, Merchandising and Special Projects. Mr. Grieff moved on to ABC records as the Senior VP of Marketing and would go on to become number two executive at the label. In the mid-1980s, Mr. Grieff served as CEO of the largest entertainment marketing division of IPG (Promotional Concept Group), where he worked with major franchises such as McDonalds and Coca-Cola, among others. In 1997 he became President of Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video. Mr. Grieff then went on to serve as President and CEO of The Brand Experience Lab. Barry Grieff is the CEO and Chairman of Audience Entertainment, as well as the company’s co-founder and President.
